KHYBER: People of various walks of life stressed upon the parents to educate their daughters in the best interest of them as well the country. Expressing their views in seminar themed,” Importance of Female” education, organized in District Press Club, Landi Kotal on Thursday the speakers including ex-Education Officer Haji Bahadar Khan, Head of Sayasi Ittehad, Landi Kotal Murad Hussain Afridi, President Private School Association Haji Iqbal, religious scholar Maulana Shoaib,Chief of the Hundred Organization Maroof Shah, Principal of Degree Girls College Nadia Irshad, a private college head Abdullah Shah and others flayed the government for its ignoring attitude towards the tribesmen in all departments including girls education. Highlighting importance of female education they said that education in religious of Islam was a must for both male and female and it was need of time to educate the tribal girls. News Desk

The particepents called upon the tribesmen to ignore their self imposed restrictions and enroll their daughters and sisters in nearest educational institutions for their bright future.
It’s to be stated here that female litrecy rate in tribal is still three percent
Prior to it, the Principal of Degree Girls College Nadia Irshad appraised the participants of facilities provided to the girls students.
She added best teaching staff and favorable was available in the college to educate the tribal girls.
She urged the parents to enroll their daughters in the institution.
