PESHAWAR: Court has awarded death sentence for 7 time to the culprit for murdering 7 persons. Sessions Court Peshawar has awarded death sentence and fine Rs 21.5 lac to accused Muhammad Ibrahim for killing 7 persons in the name of honor. Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Jamil heard the case. According to prosecution the accused Muhammad Ibrahim resident of Tangi Chrasada gunned down his wife Bano, minor sons Salim, Suleman, Jalal, cousin Habib Ullah, his wife Shakila and daughter Samia in his home located on Phindo road Peshawar in 2021. As per media reports, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of police station Chamkani.
The court announced the decision on proving the offence in the light of statements of the witnesses.
The accused had earlier filed appeal plea against his conviction in high court.
Peshawar High Court had referred the case to the respective court for re-trial.
After re-trial the court awarded death sentence 7 time and fine over Rs 21 lac.
