Dr. Shafqat announce new classrooms, modern educational initiatives

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Science and Information Technology, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, paid a detailed visit to Government Primary School in his constituency, Kot, on Saturday. He was accompanied by the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Forests, Pir Masoor Khan.
Dr. Shafqat Ayaz appreciated the students’ performances, saying that these children are the future of our nation, and investing in their education and upbringing is the truest form of national service. He distributed prizes among outstanding students and praised the teachers for maintaining an encouraging and effective learning environment.
He stated that the provincial government is bringing revolutionary changes in the education sector, particularly in backward and rural areas, work is being carried out at a fast pace to construct additional classrooms, provide modern facilities, clean drinking water, furniture, and establish IT labs in schools. Dr. Shafqat Ayaz announced the construction of additional classrooms and provision of facilities for students at the school.
He said these initiatives are a continuation of the vision of Imran Khan, who believes that a society based on education, character, and justice is the foundation of a strong Pakistan. He emphasized that Chief Minister is turning that vision into reality in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that the government aims to ensure that every child receives quality education so that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa becomes an educated, self-reliant, and prosperous province.
Dr. Shafqat Ayaz noted that government is paying special attention to students’ character building, discipline, cleanliness, sports, and creative activities so they grow up to be not only good students but also responsible and law-abiding citizens.
He further stated that teachers are the backbone of the education system, and the provincial government is addressing their issues, promotions, and training through policy-level reforms.
In conclusion, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz said that the government is committed to transforming Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a modern, educated, and digital province.
He also announced that the “E-Basta” program will soon be launched, through which digital learning content will be provided to students from grades 9 to 12.
He explained that this initiative aims to reduce the burden of physical textbooks, simplify access to learning materials, and introduce students to the world of digital education, marking a major step toward educational modernization in the province.
