An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was felt in Swat and adjoining areas on Sunday.
According to the Seismological Center, th earthquake was felt at 10:42 a.m. and it s epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 50 kilometers below the surface. Tremors were also felt in surrounding areas, however no casualties or damage have been reported so far. The tremors prompted people to rush out of their homes and shops in fear.
