Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry has emphasized that Pakistan’s legal fraternity serves as a cornerstone for strengthening democracy, ensuring the rule of law, and delivering justice. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with lawyers to uphold judicial independence and protect citizens’ rights. Speaking to the media outside the Judicial Complex in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry described the upcoming Punjab Bar Council elections as pivotal for Pakistan’s legal and judicial landscape.
He noted that the outcome would not only shape the future of the legal community but also influence the broader justice system.
Referring to the recent Supreme Court Bar Association elections, he said that the victory of the panel backed by the government demonstrated the legal community’s trust in stability, justice, and the supremacy of law.
