RAWALPINDI
The Horticulture Agency (HA) Rawalpindi has intensified efforts to improve the city’s parks and green belts, aiming to provide residents with a cleaner, safer, and more attractive recreational environment.
A spokesman said on Wednesday the Agency workers, acting on the instructions of its Managing Director, were carrying out routine landscaping, seasonal plantation, and maintenance work across major public parks.
He added that fresh flowers, improved walkways, and enhanced greenery had drawn strong public interest, particularly during evening hours.
The spokesman further said that the managing director had also ordered stricter security arrangements in all parks to ensure a safe environment for families and visitors. “No negligence will be tolerated in maintaining public facilities,” the MD was quoted as saying.
He reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to expanding greenery and upgrading recreational spaces across the city.
