LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected appeal plea of culprit Muhammad Ashraf against life imprisonment awarded to him for clubbing his wife to death and upheld the sentence. Father holds an esteemed position in our society and no son can level such false allegation against his father. Either son leveled allegation of murder against his father himself and without any evidence this allegation cannot be refuted. It has been said in the decision the counsel for the culprit had taken the plea there were other children of the victim too but no one among them charge sheeted their father. But the court sees the importance and not the number of witnesses. Online
