November 26 protest case
RAWALPINDI
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has allowed Aleema Khan sister of Imran Khan to go in November 26 protest case.
Earlier court had ordered to take her into temporary judicial custody.
Nov 26 protest case against 11 accused including Aleema Khan came up for hearing in ATC Rawalpindi Wednesday.
Aleema Khan requested during the hearing of the case their counsel is busy in Supreme Court (SC) therefore, they be allowed to go.
Prosecutor Zahir Shah said the accused is in judicial custody under section 351 of the criminal procedure.
When Aleema Khan stepped out of the court, women police officers took her into custody and brought her back to the court.
The court said the accused must not leave court’s premises.
Faisal Malik counsel for Aleema Khan too reached the court.
Later the court allowed Aleema Khan to go .
Two bail bonds worth Rs 10 lac each filed by Aleema Khan were approved by the court.
Rs 10000 fine was imposed each on 8 witnesses for using dilatory tactics.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 01 on the request of defence counsels.
