Islamabad: Pakistan expressed grave concern over the findings of United Nations experts on India’s illegal measures in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The UN report highlighted arbitrary arrests, detentions, torture, custodial deaths, and suppression of press freedom affecting thousands of Kashmiris. Pakistan called for the immediate release of all arbitrarily detained individuals and urged India to end persecution of religious minorities. Pakistan reaffirmed its support for a peaceful, just, and lasting resolution of the Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. ONLINE
