Governor KP pays tribute to APS martyrs

PESHAWAR: On the 11th anniversary of the tragic Army Public School (APS) attack in Peshawar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, issued a heartfelt message paying tribute to the martyrs, describing the APS tragedy as an “unforgettable and heartbreaking event” in the nation’s history. In his message, Governor Kundi emphasized that the innocent lives lost in the APS attack taught the nation invaluable lessons in unity, courage, and sacrifice. He acknowledged that the tragedy was a difficult trial for the entire country but reiterated that the sacrifices made by the martyrs would never be in vain. “The APS martyrs have left an indelible mark on the hearts of every Pakistani. Their ultimate sacrifice in the fight against terrorism will always be remembered,” the Governor stated. Kundi further affirmed that the state remains committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of innocent lives. Governor KP expressed deep sympathy with the families of the martyrs, saying, “The entire nation shares the grief of the families even today.
