PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has stressed the need for an All Parties Conference (APC) to address pressing national issues, restore real democracy and ensure political stability in the country. Talking to media in Peshawar, Asad Qaiser said the overall situation of the country was not good and Pakistan was facing serious political and economic challenges. He emphasized that political stability was essential for economic activity and sustainable development, warning that continued uncertainty was damaging investor confidence and public trust. The PTI leader said that Pakistan needed “real democracy” where the mandate of the people is respected and institutions function within their constitutional limits. He alleged that democratic norms had been weakened in recent years, resulting in governance failures and economic decline. Asad Qaiser reiterated that PTI founder Imran Khan remained the “only hope” for the country in the current circumstances. DNA
