Chief Executive Officer IESCO Engineer Ch. Khalid Mahmood, while taking notice of the inconvenience faced by valued consumers due to scheduled shutdowns and power outages under the Annual System Maintenance Program on 11 kV feeders, 132 kV grid stations and transmission lines, has issued directions to the Operations, Construction and GSO formations to complete the system maintenance program at the earliest.
The IESCO Chief Executive further stated that all teams are working with dedication and commitment, and that maintenance works on most of the 11 kV feeders in Islamabad Circle and adjoining areas including Islamabad sectors, Bhara Kahu, Murree, Nathia Gali and other tourist destinations have been completed.
He expressed hope that by the end of December, shutdowns of 11 kV feeders in Islamabad Circle and surrounding areas will be finished, whereas shutdowns related to Construction and GSO will continue as per the approved schedule.
The IESCO Operations & Maintenance Directorate has uploaded the revised schedule on IESCO’s official website www.iesco.com.pk. Consumers can also obtain the required information by following IESCO’s official social media accounts. Moreover, the 118 helpline remains available 24 hours a day.
