Earth quake tremors were felt in different parts of KP. Quake tremors were felt in the areas of Malakand, Dir, Chitral and upper areas.
As per media reports the tremors were felt in Khyber Landi Kotal and surrounding areas .
According to MET office 5.7 magnitude quake on richter scale shook the areas. Its depth was 12 kilometer and epicenter was Hindukush region in Afghanistan.
The tremors caused panic among residents, who evacuated buildings reciting Kalima Tayyaba.
No loss to lives or significant damage to properties has been reported so far.
