Peshawar
A Day of Hope and Care for Orphans and Mothers, titled “Haya Alal Falah Day,” was held with grace and enthusiasm at Peshawar Medical College (PMC). The event was organized to promote community well-being and social responsibility for orphans and their mothers.
The event was a joint collaboration between Peshawar Medical College and the Orphan Care Programme of the Alkhidmat Foundation. It featured free medical check-ups, recreational activities, and a special session on child upbringing and parental guidance conducted by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Idrees. Notably, students from Gaza also participated in the event, adding to the spirit of global solidarity.
The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Sawati, Director, Riphah University Peshawar Campus, along with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aman Khan, Principal, PMC.
The closing ceremony featured addresses by Prof. Dr. Ayesha Abdullah (Vice Dean, PMC), Khalid Waqas (President, Alkhidmat Foundation KP), Iftikhar Ahmad (President, Alkhidmat Foundation District Peshawar), Shehzad Sadiq (Alkhidmat Foundation Women’s Wing) and Mohammad Salarzai. The dignitaries appreciated the organizers for bringing medical services, educational guidance and recreational activities together on a single platform.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates among competition winners and event organizers.
