PESHAWAR: Rain in the lower areas and snowfall in the upper regions of Swat and Dir have ended the prolonged dry spell and intensified the cold weather. According to reports on Sunday, snowfall has begun in the upper tourist areas and mountain ranges, covering popular destinations such as Matiltan, Mahodand, Shahi Bagh, Malam Jabba, Gabin Jabba and other scenic spots with a white blanket. The snowfall has made the weather colder yet pleasant, attracting a large number of tourists who are heading to these areas to enjoy the snowy landscapes.
