Pakistani government officials and media representatives at the 9th CPEC Media Forum held here pointed out that India is the primary source of disinformation targeting Pakistan and CPEC. Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, underscored that the arrival of the digital age has transformed the way information is disseminated, and disinformation and narrative warfare have become global challenges.
“During the war with India, we saw a lot of misinformation coming in. They’ve banned our YouTube channels,” he mentioned. “When I heard some of our naive friends talk about CPEC in a negative connotation, I can only say that they don’t know the entire truth.
