LAHORE
One person lost his life, while 11 persons were injured when a speeding wagon, carrying a wedding party, overturned in Lahore. The incident took place at Canal Road area of Lahore.
Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Doctors Hospital. Rescue sources said that three people were in a critical condition.
The dead man was identified as Hanif, who was 55. Later, the Rescue 1122 team shifted the dead body to a hospital mortuary for the post-mortem.In November 2025, four people, including two women, lost their lives in a tragic accident near MAO College when a truck carrying bottles fell onto a rickshaw.
Rescue 1122 officials confirmed the incident and said three others, including two children, sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Eyewitnesses stated that the mishap occurred when the overloaded truck overturned, crushing the rickshaw underneath.
Authorities identified the deceased as Rabia (40), Reema (10), Rasheeda, and Sameeaa (8). Those injured include Inaamullah (12), Piari (6), Munni (17), Suleman, Awais, Khameeso, and Vijay.
