LAHORE
Speaker Punjab Assembly (PA) Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has said PTI does not respect the sacred places and how will it respect PA.
“No one is allowed to set ablaze my home and then say it is my political right, he said this while addressing a press conference here Monday.
He held Permission to any proceedings in PA is subject to law. The proceedings of house is run under rules. Assemblies see the matters of government and opposition at equal level.
I was happy over the arrival of KP chief minister. I was told Sohail Afridi wanted to do organizational activity in PA. Permission is needed to come into assembly. Assembly limits are red zone and security parameters.
Coordination should remain between the political parties. The political parties should be rooted in all over the country. All the political parties strengthen the federation.
Improper treatment is given to women in KP assembly.
A friend questioned KP CM came in PA and what incident took place therein.
He said those people came with KP CM who were nominated in siege and arson cases., Such persons were brought in PA who are convicted . Such people were brought who had no permission or their national identity cards.
PTI does not respect holy places then what respect it will give to assembly.
He observed assembly is mosque of democratic people. He used highly insulting language here against Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz. People who had come from KP demonstrated low mentality
My job was to point out mindset. Giving political statements is not my job as speaker. I am placing before the people the incident what happened in assembly.
We have made several arrangements for security of PA. Security SOPs are observed strictly in PA. Every one will have to respect the sanctity of limits of PA individually.
PTI walas say in every thing our leader is arrested. There are high profile cases against him. The cases registered against PTI founder cannot be compared with cases of general nature. May 9 was not a public reaction but it was a complete plan.
