Kundi condoles death of army officer in Bajaur operation

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Major Adeel Zaman, a Pakistan Army officer who was killed during an intelligence-based operation in Khar, Bajaur district.
In his condolence statement, the governor said Major Adeel Zaman, a native of Dera Ismail Khan, had set a high example of bravery and dedication by sacrificing his life for the defense of the homeland and the maintenance of peace and order. “The entire nation will always remember the sacrifice of this great son of ours,” he added.
Faisal Karim Kundi also acknowledged the enduring sacrifices of Pakistan Army personnel in the fight against terrorism, describing them as the guarantee of the country’s freedom and security. He said the efforts of security forces to thwart hostile elements remain a source of national pride.
The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyr, praying for the elevation of his ranks and for patience for his loved ones. He reiterated that the government and security agencies remain committed to a united fight against terrorism and to ensuring lasting peace in the province.
