Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the resurgence of violence in Yemen and reiterated its support for the country’s unity, territorial integrity, and all efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Pakistan strongly opposes unilateral actions by any Yemeni party that could escalate the situation, undermine peace efforts, or threaten the stability of Yemen and the broader region. Pakistan welcomed regional initiatives to de-escalate tensions and maintain peace and stability in Yemen. The statement reaffirmed Pakistan’s complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its commitment to the security of the Kingdom. Pakistan also reiterated its firm support for resolving the Yemen issue through dialogue and diplomacy, hoping that Yemen’s people and regional powers work together toward an inclusive and enduring settlement that safeguards regional stability.
