Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan has launched a five-day Faculty Induction Training Workshop under the title Faculty Induction Training Program. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, participated in the opening session as the Chief Guest.
The training program is being organized by the Registrar Office with the aim of equipping newly inducted faculty members with modern teaching methodologies, professional skills, and an understanding of academic and administrative systems in line with contemporary requirements.
Addressing the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan stated that teachers and students are the fundamental pillars of a university’s growth and development. He emphasized that only well-trained teachers can effectively prepare students to meet modern-day challenges.
He further said that Khwaja Fareed University believes in continuous improvement in the quality of education, promotion of teaching and research, and the personality and character building of students. The purpose of this training program, he added, is to carry forward these academic traditions and institutional values.
Participants of the workshop were engaged in various training exercises, while visits to different campus facilities were also arranged. Faculty members were briefed about available university facilities and their queries were addressed.
On the first day, Registrar Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal delivered a detailed session on University Orientation, Leadership, and Governance. Topics such as Research Development, Teaching Excellence, Teaching Effectiveness and Assessment Standards, Professional Skills, and Career Development were also discussed during the sessions.
The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahzad Murtaza, Registrar Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dean of All Faculties Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Prof. Dr. Badr-ul-Salam, Prof. Dr. Ataf Ali Altaf, Prof. Dr. Shanawar, Prof. Dr. Adnan, Prof. Dr. AbuBakar, Additional Registrar Dr. Azmat Farooq, Deputy Registrar Zahoor Elahi Mazari, Director Academics Dr. Shahid Atiq, Director Quality Enhancement Cell Dr. Bilal Tahir, along with Directors, Heads of Departments, and faculty members.
