National Assembly to meet tomorrow; 8-Point Agenda Issued

Islamabad: The National Assembly of Pakistan will meet tomorrow at 5:00 pm, with an eight-point agenda issued for the session. During the proceedings, government MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan will submit a call-attention notice regarding the holding of furniture expos without prior approval from the administration. The House will also take up legislative business, including the presentation of the Private Educational Institutions (Registration and Regulation) Amendment Bill 2026 in the federal capital. Bills related to the prevention of unauthorized use of Pakistan’s name and symbols, the Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill 2026, and the Protected Documentary Material (Protection and Export Control) Amendment Bill 2026 will also be introduced. In addition, the Railway Transfer (Amendment) Bill 2026 will be presented for approval. The session will further witness the tabling of reports from various standing committees. A separate call-attention notice will be raised on the problems faced by Pakistanis traveling abroad in host countries
