ISLAMABAD: Imaan Mazari , a human Rights activist and daughter of former leader PTI Shireen Mazari, and her husband Hadi Ali Chhatha have been arrested. Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chhatha were on their way from Islamabad High Court (IHC) to district court when their van was stopped near underpass outside Serena hotel and they were arrested. Office bearers of both the high courts and Lawyers in large number were along with Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha. It is pertinent to mention here that Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chhatha had announced not to withdraw from their stance. Talking to media men they said they are standing firmly by their stance. They will not back down from their stance no matter they are sent to jail. It is pertinent to mention here earlier district and sessions court Islamabad had ordered Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha to appear in person in Controversial tweets case. In controversial tweets case the trial court order has been declared null and void in the written decision of IHC. It has been said in the decision Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha be not arrested in controversial tweets case. According to decision 4 days are given to Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha for cross questioning the witnesses. if they don’t appear in the court then this order will be considered void.
