RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested 10 suspects, including four women, and seized 26.51 kg of drugs worth more than Rs 6.6 million in eight operations carried out near educational institutions and in several cities, an ANF spokesperson said on Saturday. In actions near universities, police recovered 200 grams of hashish from a motorcyclist in Islamabad, while 1.4 kg of heroin and 500 grams of ice were seized from a vehicle near a university in Sambrial, Sialkot district, leading to the arrest of three suspects, including two women. In another operation near Chenab Toll Plaza in Gujrat, 1.4 kg of opium and 500 grams of ice were recovered from a vehicle and three suspects, including two women, were arrested. The arrested suspects confessed to supplying drugs to students of educational institutions, the spokesperson said. In other operations, 12 cocaine capsules weighing 200 grams were recovered from the stomach of a passenger bound for Umrah at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. News Agency
