Nov 26 protest case against Aleema Khan: Hearing adjourned till Jan 28

RAWALPINDI: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has adjourned till January 28 hearing of November 26 protest case against Aleema Khan sister of PTI founder. Aleema Khan did not appear in the court. Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC took up the case for hearing Monday. The defence counsel Faisal Malik presented one day exemption plea in respect of Aleema Khan taking the plea Aleema Khan has other engagements in Lahore therefore, she is unable to appear in the court. He said there are his other court’s engagements tomorrow on Tuesday. The date of the case be taken forward. The court accepted one day exemption plea of Aleema Khan. The defence counsel requested the court to defreeze bank account of Aleema Khan and restore her blocked national identity card and passport. The court while admitting for hearing this plea issued notice to the government. Prosecutor will give arguments on these petitions on next date. ONLINE
