SSP operations vows to protect traders, boost security in Peshawar

SSP Operations Farhan Khan met a delegation of trader leaders, assuring enhanced security measures and swift action against criminals targeting businesses.
According to a statement, the meeting held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines.
The representatives from Chamber of Commerce and trader organizations attended the meeting and raised their concerns over safety in the provincial capital.
SSP Operations assured the trade bodies that all available resources would be utilized to stepped-up patrols, including female officers in crowded areas, and ongoing drives against land mafia, extortionists, and drug peddlers.
Traders praised police efforts and proposed measures to curb firing and anti-social elements.
SSP Khan assured priority resolution of issues faced by the community, adding that Ababil Squad and local police patrols had been reinforced in markets and outskirts areas of Peshawar.
He added that his office remains open to address urgent grievances of the business community.
