The threat of a possible conviction in the foreign funding case has begun to loom over PTI founder Imran Khan, as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed the Banking Court Islamabad that the challan in the case has been completed.
During the hearing of the foreign funding case against Imran Khan and others, the FIA investigation officer told the court that the challan had been finalized from his side and handed over to the relevant authorities. The deputy director legal stated that the remaining legal process would be completed soon, after which the challan would be formally submitted to the court within a few days.
The case was heard by Banking Court Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar. Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik appeared before the court in connection with the PTI foreign funding case.
After the proceedings, the court adjourned the hearing of the foreign funding case until February 10.
