‘Nov 26 Protest Case’
ISLAMABAD
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has issued show cause notice to Investigation Officer (IO) for not filing challan of KP Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi, Junaid Akbar and others. The hearing is likely for next week.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra will hear the case.
The court while expressing resentment over not filing challan remarked investigation officer should tell why he has not got challan completed so far.
“The issue between the police and the accused is not the court’s concern,” the judge remarked, adding that while the police were free to act according to law, the court requires the case record without further delay
November 26 protest case is registered against Sohail Afridi and others in Margalla Police station.
