The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife Department has announced the commencement of the hunting season 2025–26 across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Chief Conservator Wildlife, the hunting season will start on February 15, 2026, and continue until March 15, 2026.
As per the notification, hunting will be allowed only on Saturdays and Sundays, and hunters must possess a valid shooting license.
The statement stated that legal action will be taken against violators of the prescribed rules and regulations.
The department has also declared certain areas of Lower and Upper Chitral as completely prohibited for hunting.
Hunters and the general public have been urged to strictly follow government directives and cooperate with the Wildlife Department to promote conservation and sustainable hunting practices.
