ISLAMABAD
The inauguration ceremony of the new office of the CBA Committee Fire Brigade was held under the auspices of the Fire Brigade Directorate. The event was attended by central office-bearers of the CDA Mazdoor Union, representatives of various CBA committees and a large number of CDA employees.
Addressing the ceremony, Secretary General of CDA Mazdoor Union Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and expressed hope that they would perform their responsibilities diligently for the strengthening of the organization and the welfare of employees.
He stated that the fundamental mission of the CDA Mazdoor Union is to serve employees without discrimination and safeguard their rights. Owing to these consistent efforts and by the grace of Almighty Allah the employees have elected the Union for the fifth consecutive time in the referendum.
He further stated that during its tenure, the Union has played a significant role in securing numerous benefits and incentives for employees and will continue its struggle to ensure the protection of their legitimate rights in the future.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen urged the Chairman CDA and the CDA administration to convene a formal meeting with the CBA Union in the broader interest of the institution and take the Union into confidence so that the prevailing concerns among employees may be addressed and issues resolved through mutual consultation.
