PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has taken strict notice of the terrorist attack on police personnel on patrol in Bajaur District and sought a detailed report from the police chief. Strongly condemning the incident, the Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of police personnel who were performing their professional duties. He directed authorities to ensure the provision of the best and timely medical treatment to the injured and warned that no negligence in their care would be tolerated. He also conveyed his best wishes for their speedy and complete recovery. The Chief Minister said that the KP Police played a key role in combating terrorism and that the sacrifices rendered by brave personnel will never be forgotten. He emphasized that such cowardly acts cannot shake the resolve and morale of the force. Muhammad Sohail Afridi also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and perseverance for the bereaved families.
