Over leadership tragedy

Provincial Chairman of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, along with a party delegation, visited the Iranian Consulate in Peshawar on Thursday, where they met with the Consul General.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed deep sorrow over the recent tragedy affecting Iran’s leadership and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of those martyred.
The delegation included the party’s Central Secretary for Information Tariq Ahmed Khan** and Provincial General Secretary Dr. Farooq Afzal.
Addressing the occasion, Mr. Sherpao said that in this difficult time, the QWP and the people of Pakistan stand in complete solidarity with Iran and its people.
He highlighted the historical, religious, and cultural ties connecting the two nations and said that on such occasions, the people of both countries share equally in each other’s grief.
