Pakistan has decided to export wheat products to UAE on its request. As per media reports Flour, refined flour and semolina will be exported to UAW in the first phase. As per government sources UAE has requested for providing one lac ton wheat products. The export of wheat products will provide economic benefit to flour mill industry and farmers. Sri Lanka, China and several other countries have shown interest in purchasing wheat products from Pakistan. Flour mills under federal government, will be included in the system of wheat products export.
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has directed food safety Punjab department to play proactive role in the export of wheat products.
