KHYBER: A woman died and five people sustained injuries when a roof of a room caved- in the station area of Landi Kotal district Khyber, local and hospital sources. They said that on Wednesday night family of one,Fauzi Khan was sleeping in the room when the roof of the room collapsed, burying the residents in the debris. The incident occurred due to torrential rain, they said. Immediately after the event, the locals rushed to the site, retrieved the injured and rushed to the headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal for medical aid, health official said. However following examination by the doctors, wife of Saif-ur- rehman was declared dead. Condition of the wounded persons was stated to be stable. Meanwhile, on behalf of the district administration and Member Provincial Assembly, Adnan Qadri, the local officials handed over tent and other necessary commodities to the affected family.
