MARDAN: A minor dispute turned deadly in Mardan when six Afghan nationals attacked a man with knife after which he died while two other people received injuries on Monday. The victim was identified as Khalil who was 23 years old. Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to hospital. Later, the police also registered a first information report (FIR) in Hoti Police Station against the six Afghan nationals and arrested four of them who were nominated in the FIR. Efforts were under way to apprehend the remaining Afghan suspects. Residents of the area appealed to the relevant authorities to take measures to deport Afghan nationals on priority basis.
