Pakistan Embassy in Manila Celebrates 86th National Day with Flag-Hoisting Ceremony Manila, Philippines – March 23, 2026 — The Embassy of Pakistan in the Philippines held a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony at Pakistan House in Makati City to commemorate the 86th National Day (Pakistan Day) of Pakistan.
Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Asima Rabbani personally raised the Pakistani national flag, symbolizing national pride and unity. Messages from the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were also read out during the event, highlighting the significance of the occasion and Pakistan’s ongoing journey since the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940.
The ceremony drew strong participation from the Pakistani community in the Philippines, including families who gathered early in the morning at 7:30 am to join the celebrations with patriotic fervor. Pakistan Day on March 23 annually marks the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan.
