International Plants Appriciation day

On the occasion of April 13th World Plant appreciation Day, Managing Director Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha has said in his special message that plants are a precious gift of nature which not only beautify the environment but are also very important for human health, economy and ecological balance.
He said that maximum tree plantation is the need of the hour to deal with problems like increasing environmental pollution, climate change and increase in temperature.
Plants not only provide oxygen but also play an important role in reducing air pollution, maintaining moderate temperature and making the urban environment pleasant.
MD Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi appealed to the citizens to plant as many plants as possible in their homes, neighborhoods, parks and roadsides and consider their maintenance as their responsibility.
He said that planting trees alone is not enough, but their continuous care is also very important so that they can thrive.
He added that the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi is continuing various tree plantation campaigns, improvement of parks and renovation of green belts to make the city green and lush. All possible steps are being taken to improve the environment of the city through modern methods and public participation.
Finally, he expressed his determination that the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi will further intensify its efforts to provide a clean, green and healthy environment with the cooperation of the citizens.
