Workers convention
LAHORE
Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed for hearing PTI petition seeking permission to hold workers convention on April 25 in Shahdara. The petition has been fixed for hearing on April 20 by registrar office.
Justice Farooq Haider will hear on April 20, the petition filed by Akmal Khan Bari. The court has already sought arguments from the counsel of the petitioner in connection with objection. Registrar office has raised objection the petition was filed without resorting to proper forum. It has been prayed through the petition that workers convention has to be held in Shahdara on April 25. Therefore, police be restrained from harassing them.
The court should order for granting permission to hold workers convention.
