The District Bar Association Charsadda has announced a three-day mourning following the martyrdom of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Idrees.
According to the Bar Spokesman on Tuesday, an emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of Advocate Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, where members strongly condemned the killing of Maulana Idrees by unidentified assailants. The participants expressed deep sorrow and paid tribute to the deceased for his religious, national and international services.
The Bar Association unanimously declared three days of mourning and urged the police to immediately investigate the incident, identify those responsible, and bring them to justice.
