President, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf paid glowing tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces on the first anniversary of the Mark-i- Haq, describing the military’s role as decisive in safeguarding national sovereignty and enhancing Pakistan’s global standing.
SCCI chief affirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully prepared to safeguard the nation’s security and defend the homeland.
In his message on eve of the first anniversary of Mark E Haq, (the Battle of Truth) here on Saturday, President Junaid Altaf highly praised the courage, professionalism and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces for frustrating the enemy’s nefarious designs and safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity.
The chamber president highlighted the resounding rejection of Indian aggression and a celebration of Pakistan’s resolute defence of its sovereignty during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos when the Pakistani forces proved themselves as an iron wall against nefarious designs, through a decisive response shattered Indian aggressive ambitions
“Marka-i-Haq reminds us that nations are protected not only through weapons, but through the courage, unity, and sacrifices of their people and armed forces,” Junaid Altaf said. The SCCI chief said a strong army guarantees a secure Pakistan, adding that the armed forces elevated national pride by defeating India in Marka-i-Haq. He stated that Pakistan Army soldiers remain ever-ready to sacrifice their lives for the protection of the country’s borders.
President Junaid Altaf said Pakistan’s armed forces have always defended the country with courage, professionalism, and determination, and the entire nation takes pride in its brave soldiers.
SCCI leadership paid tribute to Field Marshal, COAS and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Arhraf over their unwavering leadership and professional capabilities.
Today, the Marka E Haq is an unwavering chapter of Pakistan’s pride and dignity in the whole world. President Junaid Altaf said the business community and the people stand by our armed forces.
The struggle for truth has taught us that strong defense is the guarantee of a stable economy, he added.
We praise the sacrifices of our forces who have provided us with a peaceful and secure environment.”
