ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad will hear the Khawar Maneka assault case on Tuesday, May 12, during proceedings related to the Iddat marriage case. The court had earlier expressed displeasure over the non-appearance of accused Ansar Kiani and remarked that separate laws could not exist for ordinary citizens and lawyers. Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra will conduct the hearing, while lawyers Naeem Haider Panjutha and Usman Riaz are expected to present arguments on petitions challenging terrorism charges included in the case. A case relating to the alleged assault on Khawar Maneka had been registered against PTI lawyers at Ramna Police Station. ONLINE
