Mardan: At least two people were killed and four others sustained serious injuries in separate rain and windstorm-related incidents in Mardan district, Rescue 1122 officials said. According to rescue authorities, the roof of a room collapsed near Mansab Pul due to heavy rain and strong winds, injuring four people identified as 70-year-old Qaisar, 50-year-old Hamid, 7-year-old Habibullah, and 39-year-old Fazal Rahman. Rescue teams provided first aid before shifting the injured to hospital. In another incident in Tota Kalay, a shop shutter collapsed during strong winds, killing 17-year-old Osama, son of Gulfraz. Rescue officials shifted the body to DHQ Hospital where doctors confirmed his death. Separately, in Narai Baja Sharif Abad, a wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Usman, son of Rehman Syed.
