Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department’s D.I. Khan Squad on Sunday thwarted a major smuggling attempt on Daraban Road, recovering over 11 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
During targeted operation, officials intercepted a suspicious vehicle with registration number BRW-436 and discovered 11,130 grams of the drug, commonly known as “ice,” which had been expertly concealed in bottles hidden inside the vehicle’s fuel tank.
The suspect identified as Allah Muhammad of Quetta was promptly arrested and taken into custody along with seized narcotics.
A case has been registered at Excise Police Station D.I. Khan Region, and investigations are underway.
