Two people died and four people got seriously injured due to rain and windstorm in Mardan district, rescue 1122 officials said, officials added that due to rains and storms, several accidents took place in , which resulted in two deaths and four people getting severely injured.
As per reports received from the rescue team, the room roof caved in near Mansab Pul, leaving four persons injured. The injured were identified as 70-year-old Qaisar, 50-year-old Hamid, 7-year-old Habibullah, and 39-year-old Fazal Rahman.
The victims were rushed to the hospital by the rescue team after first aid was administered to them. Moreover, another accident occurred in Tota Kalay, when a shop shutter fell on account of strong winds, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Osama, the son of Gulfraz. The rescue 1122 medical team shifted the deceased to the DHQ Hospital where the death of the victim was declared.
Also, in Narai Baja Sharif Abad, a wall fell down due to heavy rains, causing the death of 28-year-old Usman, the son of Rehman Syed. The body was shifted to Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) and after being examined by doctors, it was confirmed that the victim died there.
