PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Suhail Afridi on Tuesday termed the bomb blast in Lakki Marwat a highly tragic incident and directed authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured while ordering police to complete the investigation promptly. Muhammad Suhail Afridi took immediate notice of the bomb explosion that occurred in Phatak Bazaar, Sarai Naurang, a tehsil of Lakki Marwat district and sought a detailed report from the Inspector General of Police.
The Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of two traffic police personnel and civilians in the incident. He stated that the provincial government stands with the families of the martyrs in this difficult time.
He also instructed the relevant authorities to guarantee the provision of the best healthcare facilities to those injured in the blast.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister directed the police and concerned institutions to provide full cooperation at the scene and complete the investigation into the incident as soon as possible.
