PESHAWAR
Commissioner Peshawar Division, Riaz Khan Mehsud on Tuesday presented a special shield to talented national cricket team off-spin bowler Usman Tariq during his visit to the Commissioner Office, in recognition of his outstanding performance and for bringing pride to Peshawar at the national level.
The ceremony was also attended by renowned first-class cricketers Bilal Marwat and Aslam Qureshi, along with Assistant Commissioner Town Azeem Ullah Mehsud.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud praised Usman Tariq’s talent and expressed hope that he would continue to elevate the name of Pakistan cricket through his unique bowling skills and exceptional performances in the future.
“The honor is not only a moment of pride for Usman Tariq but also an encouraging message for the young athletes of Peshawar that hard work, dedication and determination can help achieve every goal”.
