Gold rises in local market as silver prices edge lower

Karachi: Prices of Gold moved higher in Pakistan’s bullion market on Saturday, while Silver recorded a slight decline, according to the latest rates issued by market authorities. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,300 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs476,162. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs1,115 to reach Rs408,232 in the local market. In contrast, silver prices witnessed a downward trend, with the per tola rate falling by Rs21 to settle at Rs8,013. Web Desk
Internationally, gold prices also moved upward. The price of gold in the global bullion market gained $13 per ounce, reaching $4,538 per ounce.
The latest changes indicate continued volatility in precious metals trading, with gold extending its gains while silver posted a modest decline.
