Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq held an orderly room at his office to hear and address departmental and personal grievances of police officers.
An official told APP on Friday that the DIG met police officers individually and listened to their departmental as well as personal issues to ensure their timely resolution.
Rana Umar issued necessary directions to senior police officers concerned for the prompt redressal of the grievances raised during the orderly room.
The DIG emphasized that resolving the genuine problems of police personnel remained a priority and directed the officers concerned to ensure the transparent and timely implementation of his instructions.
He said the welfare of police officers and personnel played a vital role in improving their morale and enhancing professional performance.
