Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with a Pakistani delegation, participated in the funeral ceremony of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran Friday. They paid rich tribute to late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and offered fateha for the departed soul. They also extended their condolences to the Iranian leadership, including President Masoud Pezeshkian. The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Attaullah Tarar, Mohsin Naqvi, Ayaz Sadiq, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Syed Murad Ali Shah.
