Federal Minister for Energy, Sardar Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari on Monday accompanied the government’s leadership during a condolence visit to the residence of Punjab Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar and his brother Malik Munir Iqbal Channar in Bahawalpur following the death of former National Assembly member Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar.
Leghari offered condolences to the bereaved family, paid tribute to the late politician’s public and political services, expressed the government’s solidarity, and prayed for the departed soul.
Leghari conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the Channar family, describing Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar as a committed public representative whose services to the people would be remembered with respect.
He said the late leader’s contribution to public life had left a lasting legacy and that his dedication to serving the people would continue to inspire others.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Leghari assured them that the government stood with them in this hour of grief.
He also prayed that Allah Almighty might grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and bless the family with patience and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
